The Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority engaged future engineers at the Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) Chapter of Engineers Institute of Malawi(EIM) symposium in Blantyre on Friday.
MERA representatives, including Temwani Mweso, Renewable Energy Regulation Specialist, responded to key takeaways presented at the symposium. Mweso said engineers are key drivers of industrialisation and national transformation under Malawi Vision 2063. He also said innovation, practical engineering skills, and sustainable energy solutions are essential for achieving Malawi’s industrialisation agenda.
The symposium brought together engineers and students for a series of technical and policy discussions before concluding later in the day.
