MERA Partners with REIAMA for Malawi Energy Week 2025: Promoting Sustainable Energy Solutions
The Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (MERA) has partnered with the Renewable Energy Industries Association of Malawi (REIAMA) to participate in the Malawi Energy Week 2025. The event is taking place from June 4th to 8th, 2025, in all three regions of Malawi, with MERA’s activities in Blantyre being held at the Chichiri Shopping Mall.
At the Blantyre event, MERA’s Renewable Energy Specialists seized the opportunity to sensitize the public on various energy-related issues. The team engaged with attendees, providing valuable information on energy regulation, renewable energy options, and energy efficiency.
The Malawi Energy Week 2025 aims to promote energy awareness, showcase innovative energy solutions, and foster collaboration among stakeholders in the energy sector. MERA’s participation in the event underscores its commitment to educating the public about energy issues and promoting sustainable energy practices.
The event is free of charge for the public, making it an excellent opportunity for everyone to learn about energy-related topics. Through this partnership with REIAMA, MERA hopes to reach a wider audience and contribute to the country’s efforts in promoting renewable energy and energy efficiency.
MERA’s involvement in the Malawi Energy Week 2025 is part of its ongoing efforts to engage with the public and promote energy awareness. By working together with REIAMA, MERA aims to make a positive impact on the country’s energy landscape.
