The Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (MERA) has joined the Malawi Parliament in commemorating the first ‘Parliament Week’ aimed at creating awareness on the powers and activities of Parliament. This initiative has accorded MERA an opportunity to educate both parliamentarians and the public on energy-related operations and the legal framework that defines MERA’s role as a regulatory body.
